Kyle and Kaitlyn Gapp

Kaitlyn Burkett and Kyle Gapp, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado, were married Nov. 5, 2016 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Colorado Springs.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Erin Burkett of Colorado Springs and Jim and Sandy Gapp of Webster City.

Kelsey Vance of Colorado Springs was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Burkett and Tina Neuendorf, both of Colorado Springs, Elen Henry, Long Beach, California, Megan Cyr, St. Andrews, Manitoba, Canada, Kirsten Wicks, Chicago, Illinois, Alex Penewell, Newport Beach, California, and Molly Wigand, Denver, Colorado.

Zak Clark of Fort Dodge was the best man. Groomsmen were Tim Flattery, West Des Moines, Kevin Gapp, Webster City, Kevin Neuendorf, Kyle Burkett and Andrew Vance, all of Colorado Springs.

Carter Black and Kyle Neuendorf, both of Colorado Springs, were the ushers.

Grandparents attending were Lee Anderson and Bobbie Burkett.

A reception was held at the Pinery at the Hill in Colorado Springs. The couple took a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The bride has a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from the University of Colorado. She has a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado. She teaches first grade at St. Paul Catholic School in Colorado Springs.

The groom is graduated with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and sales from the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed in marketing at KOM Sports in Colorado Springs.
