The Food Bank of Iowa will have its mobile food pantry at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church next Tuesday. The pantry will be set up at 1000 Des Moines St. in the St. Thomas Parish Hall. The Parish Center will be open at 2:30 p.m. for registration, and the pantry will be open from 2:45 until 5:30 p.m. or until the food is gone. A Night of Jazz is to be held at Webster City Middle School tonight. Both the high school and middle school jazz musicians will be performing at the Webster City Middle School at 6 p.m. This event will be featuring not only the middle school jazz band and middle school vocal jazz small ensembles, it will also include the high school jazz ensemble and high school jazz band. The Lehigh Methodist Church will have its Second Sunday Supper from 5 - 7 p.m. on Sunday. This month the meal will be a variety of soups. At least half a dozen soups will be available to share. Desserts and drinks will also be available. The cost is a freewill donation.
The annual banquet for the Hamilton County Cattlemen Association will be on March 9. The banquet will be held at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Bluff St. in Webster City. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social, and dinner will follow at 6 p.m. An auction will be held when the dinner is completed.
