The Lehigh Methodist Church will have its Second Sunday Supper from 5 - 7 p.m. on Sunday. This month the meal will be a variety of soups. At least half a dozen soups will be available to share. Desserts and drinks will also be available. The cost is a freewill donation.
The annual banquet for the Hamilton County Cattlemen Association will be on March 9. The banquet will be held at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, located at 1200 Bluff St. in Webster City. The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social, and dinner will follow at 6 p.m. An auction will be held when the dinner is completed. Restore Us Care Ministry is offering a nondenominational grief support group for individuals navigating loss, including death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, and other significant life transitions. The group provides a compassionate, welcoming space for connection, reflection, and healing. The ministry’s mission is to walk alongside the brokenhearted, recognizing that grief shared becomes grief lightened. The legislative forum that was to be held Jan. 16, has now been rescheduled for Feb. 20. This event is sponsored by the Hamilton County Growth Partnership. The forum will be held at the Briggs Woods Conference Center located at 2501 Briggs Woods Trail. The morning forum will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Iowa Sen. Dennis Guth, R-Klemme, and State Rep. Shannon Latham, R-Sheffield, plan to attend. The original event was canceled when a winter storm was approaching.
