Legislative forum today at 11:30 a.m.

The legislative session with Iowa Sen. Dennis Guth, R-Klemme, and House Rep. Shannon Latham, R-Sheffield, will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at the Briggs Woods Conference Center, 2501 Briggs Woods Trail. Those who registered for previous sessions are automatically registered for this discussion.

Community Cross Walk today

A community Cross Walk will be held this afternoon throughout the city of Webster City. The walk will begin at 3:30 p.m., gathering at the Asbury Methodist Church at 921 Des Moines St. There will be various stops along the route, with prayers and short readings. The Asbury bus will follow the route, and assist those who find the route too long for them. All are encouraged to participate, and dress for the weather with good walking shoes. Free Locable training offered to Chamber members this spring

The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is offering Locable Training 101, a free training opportunity designed to help Chamber members better promote their businesses and connect with the local community. Coin Show Sunday in Clarion

CLARION — The Spring Coin Show is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Heartland Museum Ballroom in Clarion. Admission is free for this family-friendly event. It is sponsored annually by the 50 members of the 68-year-old Clarion Coin Club. Dealers from three states will be buying, trading, selling and offering free appraisals.
