For the 74th year, members of the Williams Lions Club are organizing two days of events to celebrate the 250th year of America's Independence.
Events kick off at 6 p.m. on Friday with the kids parade, with line-up by the bank. The Iowa Falls State Bank will sponsor a free meal by the ball diamond, and at 7 p.m., kickball games will commence for ages 4-7 and 8-12.
On Saturday, the parade kicks off at 10 a.m.. All parade entries check in at the IAS co-op office at the north end of town and must be registered by 9:30 a.m.
A full day of activities continues with a concert at the ball diamond from 6 to 9 p.m. and fireworks at about 9:45 p.m.
