Two workshops announced at Legacy Learning Boone River Valley

Sip & Paint: Spring Flowers — BYOB

Legacy Learning Boone River Valley will celebrate spring with a relaxing evening of painting, creativity, and community from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.

A beautiful spring flower painting will be completed in a welcoming, no-pressure atmosphere — perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike.

There will be step-by-step instruction, painting supplies are included, bring your favorite beverage and bring family or friends to enjoy creative thoughts.

The cost is $40 and register at llbrv.org.

Peace Pole Workshop

Create a beautiful Peace Pole for your home or garden using colorful mosaic tiles and your own personal expression of peace and well-being for yourself, your family, and beyond.

This fun and engaging workshop will be led by designer Kevin Rubash of Interior Spaces and experienced art teacher Di Sinclair, who will guide participants step-by-step through the creative process. No previous experience is necessary, just come ready to create.

Each participant will design and complete their own mosaic Peace Pole using a durable white vinyl post (cut to approximately 30 inches) and their choice of a white or black cap. The finished piece will be ready to take home at the end of the class and can be installed over an existing post or stake or displayed as a freestanding piece on a porch or in a garden.

This workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 30. The cost is $60, including materials included.

Registration should be done at llbrv.org.
