Congregate Meals fundraiser Friday from 4 to 7 pm
The Webster City Congregate meals coordinators are offering a special meal on Friday night before Citywide garage sales andJunquefest kick off on Saturday morning.
From 4 to 7 p.m., a meal can be purchased to eat in or carry out at the Senior Citizens building, located at 749 Second St.
The menu includes sloppy joes, baked beans, pea salad, a cookie and water or coffee all for $10.
Special music will also be provided from 5 to 6 p.m.
This fundraiser has been given extra support from Webster City Custom Meats, Fareway and HyVee.
Proceeds from this meal will help support the meals that help serve our older community in a safe and healthy environment.
