The Asbury United Methodist Church is organizing a community cross walk throughout Webster City on Good Friday, April 3.

This will begin at 3:30 p.m. from the Asbury Methodist Church at 921 Des Moines St. The walk will begin from the church, and go to Second Street to Seneca Street, Ohio St. to Beach then back to the church.

This walk is to commemorate the final walk Jesus made through the streets prior to his crucifixion.

There will be various stops along the route, with prayers and short readings. The Asbury bus will follow the route, and assist those who find the route too long for them.

All are encouraged to participate, and dress for the weather with good walking shoes.
