Choral Society concert Sunday
The Fort Dodge Choral Society spring concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Decker Auditorium at 1 Triton Circle in Fort Dodge.
This concert will take a journey through the music of our history to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence.
The Jive for Five brass quintet and string ensemble will join with the singers for this concert. Jive for five includes Tim Miller and Dave Swaroff on trumpet, Kathy Yoakam on French horn and Dan Cassady on trombone, and Paul Bloomquist on tuba.
Five Webster City residents sing with the choral society, including its president, Mark Andrew and board member Alan Yungclas, in addition to Meg Cain, Stephanie Hill and Karin Yungclas.
The cost for the concert is $10 per person.
