February SALT meeting to feature conservation program
The February Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) meeting will be Thursday, Feb. 5.
This will begin at 9 a.m. at the Hamilton County Conservation Building, 2490 Briggs Woods Trail, Webster City.
Refreshments will be served, and Van Diest Medical Center personnel will provide free blood pressure checks. The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. with announcements from local law enforcement and officials from area agencies, and upcoming events from around Hamilton County.
Hamilton County Naturalist John Laird will present a review of the 2025 Public Naturalist Programming with a look at what’s to come in 2026. He will also discuss plans for the Conservation Office, sharing a vision for the future Nature Center.
S.A.L.T. meetings are free and open to the public. The meetings are held bi-monthly at locations throughout Hamilton County.
