Legacy Learning – Boone River Valley announces December Workshops and events
Legacy Learning Boone River Valley is celebrating the holiday season with a full month of hands-on workshops, community art socials, demos, and creative drop-in activities. Registration is recommended for most workshops.

Legacy Learning’s Webster City studio will host a variety of holiday-themed workshops designed to inspire creativity and bring people together. Early registration is highly encouraged–workshop spots fill quickly!

December 6 – Holiday Workshop Day
• Make Your Own Sock Gnome: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – $20
• Create Your Own Holiday Wreath: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – $45
• Make Your Holiday Card: 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Freewill donation
•Mosaic Ornaments: 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Freewill donation

Loom Warping Demo: 1 p.m. – Learn the essential skill of warping a loom in this hands-on demonstration–perfect for beginners and experienced weavers alike. — $20

Intro to Sourdough: 6:30 -7:30pm – $20

Chunky Hand-Knit Blanket Workshop: 9 a.m. to noon – $75
Coffee & Create: Holiday Edition
Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon, community members are invited to drop into Coffee & Create–an open, welcoming space to enjoy coffee, conversation, and festive crafting by free-will donation.
December projects include:
•Decorate Your Own Foam Gingerbread Person: Create a fun and festive foam gingerbread character with assorted craft materials.
•Paint Your Own Clay Ornament: Choose a pre-made clay ornament and decorate it with paint to create a personalized holiday keepsake or gift.
No registration or experience required.

Alcohol Ink Ornaments

5:30-7:30 p.m. –Monthly Art Social featuring alcohol ink ornament decorating. Explore vibrant colors and fluid-art techniques to create stunning, one-of-a-kind ornaments.
Offered by free-will donation and open to all.
