The community is invited to a “Blue Christmas” service to be held Sunday.

This will begin at 6 p.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1000 Willson Avenue in Webster City.

Leaders of the Webster City Ministerial Association, in collaboration with Boman Funeral Home and Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, will lead a service of remembrance for loved ones lost by death or separation.

During the service all are invited to light a candle in memory of loved ones.

Following the service there will be light refreshments offered in Fellowship Hall.

There will also be a “Remembrance Table” to share a photo or other token in memory of your loved ones.

A booklet on “Grief and the Holidays” will be available to everyone free of charge.
