Legacy Learning celebrates creativity during October

Legacy Learning-Boone River Valley is joining in the fun of Pumpkin Palooza with a week of hands-on art workshops designed to inspire, relax and bring people together. From pumpkin-themed painting to glass sculpture, there’s something for everyone who wants to embrace the season creatively.

These workshops will take place throughout the week of October 13-17 at Legacy Learning-Boone River Valley located at 719 Seneca Street in Webster City.

Workshop lineup

Fall Sip & Paint – BYOB Event:

Monday, October 13: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m./$40

Paint a pumpkin-themed masterpiece while sipping your favorite beverage. All materials provided, just bring your drink of choice.

Coffee & Create – DIY Earrings

Tuesday, October 14: 9:30 a.m. – Noon/Free will donation

Create a set of earrings while you sip your morning coffee.

Loom Weaving Demo:

Wednesday, October 15: 2 to 4 p.m./$20

Get a closeup look at the art of weaving during this live demonstration. Learn techniques and see how a real project comes together. For fiber art enthusiasts or the beginner.

Wood Hanging Spinner

Wednesday, October 15: 6 to 8 p.m./$25

Craft a wooden spinner for porches or patios. This spooky hands-on project. BYOB and snacks encouraged.

Thursday, October 16: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m./$40

Paint your own fall-themed art with step-by-step guidance.

Glass Sculpture

Friday, October 17: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m./$40

This beginner friendly class will walk you through designing and creating your own one-of-a-kind glass sculpture.

Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited. Workshop fees cover all materials unless noted otherwise.
