The Asbury Learning Center of the Asbury United Methodist Church is accepting applications for the Asbury Learning Center tutoring program. Tutoring will occur in the church in the educational wing. Tutoring is one-on-one.

This is for students K-4 who need extra assistance. Applications are available through the Webster City Community School offices, or through the Asbury United Methodist Church office. Qualifications for acceptance are determined by recommendations from teachers.

Tutoring sessions start Tuesday, Oct.7, and will meet every Tuesday for 45 minutes and follow the school calendar. This is open to both English and non-English speaking students who need help in the areas of reading and math.

This is a non-denominational program, and there is no charge.
