Local museums are open for the summer season
The Wilson Brewer Park Depot museum has begun its summer season, with the Depot open each Friday and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The depot, which is in the midst of exterior repairs and renovations, is known for the historic collections collected by many families of Webster City, in addition to the Frank Bonebright collections.
The museum is located at 220 Ohio Street in Webster City.
The Jane Young House will be open on a limited basis throughout 2025, starting Saturday May 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This spring, the Jane Young House Foundation paid for the renovation of the kitchen which has recreated the look of a 1900s home.
The current exhibits are in support of the reopening of the Webster Theater, with the theme, “Let’s all go to the movies.”
The Jane Young House is located at 626 Elm Street in Webster City.
Both museums suggest a $5 donation per person.
