Moens welcome

a daughter

Lexy and Tyler Moen, of Webster City, welcomed a daughter, Briar Marie Moen, on September 15, 2022, at Iowa Specialty Hospital, Clarion. She has siblings Brilee Moen, 7; and Bryson Moen, 5.

Grandparents are Troy and Tina Gilliland, Eagle Grove; and Sherri and Ronnie Griffin, Webster City. Great-grandparents are Bob and Jan Moen, Webster City; and John and Dianne Gilliland, Humboldt.

Womens Club Writer’s Club

will meet Thursday

The new Writer’s Club of the Webster City Womens Club will meet Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City.

The new Vintage Clothing display open house is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City. There is a $5 admission cost per person to attend the exhibition.

Alden Methodist will offer

drive-through meal

The Alden Methodist Church will host a drive-through meal on Sunday, Sept., 25, from 11 a.m. until the food is gone. The church is located at 1512 Hardin St., Alden.

The menu is hamballs, cheesy potatoes, green beans, a roll and a cookie. The cost is a freewill donation.
