Murder Mystery Gala will help group get to The Dwelling

This summer, Sarah Ostlund, of Trinity Lutheran Church, Webster City, is taking a group of kids and some adults chaperones to The Dwelling, her cousin Emily Norris’ ground-breaking church for the homeless in North Carolina.

To raise funds for this mission trip, someone has to die.

In fiction.

“When a flapper is found shot to death outside the club, the management and loyal patrons of The Half Moon Club scramble to identify the killer before the police catch wind of the killing and shut down the juice joint for good,” Ostlund reveals.

The event is tonight, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. There will be appetizers, dessert and a mystery to be solved.

“The Trinity Kids will be in full character and relive the night at The Half Moon Club when Fanny Birchwood was murdered. They will share their stories as you try to solve the mystery.

Seating is limited seating — and the notice is short — so if you’d like to attend, get on the list ASAP. Call or message Sarah Ostlund at 515-835-7839 or saraho@trinitywebstercity.org.
