Virtual book discussion set

County residents are invited to join a book discussion of See No Stranger: A Memoir and Manifesto of Revolutionary Love by Valerie Kaur on March 29 over a zoom link. Ten copies of the book Hamilton are available to check out at Kendall Young Library. An insert in the book will inform how to obtain the zoom link.

Kaur reached adulthood during the time of 911 as a member of the Shik faith, a religion that believes in equality and service to others. Male members traditionally wrap their hair in turbans so others may identify them as someone who will offer aid in times of trouble. Kaur shares her life’s experiences and offers lessons learned for loving others, loving our opponents, and loving ourselves. Her book has received 4.25 -4.8 stars among different book review platforms.

The discussion is a community service sponsored by the Hamilton County Democrats and not a political or recruiting event.
