The Main Street, USA Morning Kiwanis Club Board of Trustees voted recently to award each of the local elementary schools $400 to help with the start of their school year needs. Four of the five school principals were on hand at the Tuesday morning meeting of the club to accept the donations from Kiwanis President Ann McLaughlin. They include: Stratford Elementary, Michael Ross; Sunset Heights, Kelli Reis; Northeast Hamilton, Jessica Hector; and St. Thomas Aquinas, Theresa Shcleisman. Pleasant View Elementary Principal Tiffany McConnelee had received that school’s donation at an earlier date.
