The Webster Class of 1965 held the 56th anniversary of graduating on June 11-13, 2021. Their theme was “Aged to Perfection.” Friday evening they met at the American Legion Post 191and on Saturday they held their banquet at the Briggs Woods Conference Center. Highlighting the evening was a video from their foreign exchange student from The Netherlands, Els Van Roon DeWit and a lip-sync of the Patsy Cline song “She’s Got You” by Joyce Patrick George. On Sunday afternoon the class met at their victory bell tower in Graceland Cemetery for a memorial ceremony and message by Pastor Janice McCollough Burnett.

During her senior year in Webster City Els Van Roon stayed in the home of Harold and Oma Halsne and attended school with their daughter Susie Halsne graduating in 1965.
