— Daily Freeman-Journal photos by Anne Blankenship Jake Lahr, Kyle Chieng and Alyssa Delaney were awarded the $500 Webster City Community Theatre Endowment Awards at the senior awards night last week.

The Webster City Community Theatre has announced the 2021 scholarship awardees. Students graduating or who have graduated from a Hamilton County high school or a student outside the county but active in WCCT were eligible.

Awards of $500 went to Alyssa Delaney, Jake Lahr, Kyle Chieng, all of the class of 2021; and Gianna Borer, Daniel Blankenship, Maren Borer, and Jake Nilles

Funding for the scholarships came in part from the WCCT Endowed Scholarship Fund, the Dr. Caryl Hollingshead Memorial and friends of WCCT. Future applicants need to be aware the WCCT Board of Directors will be considering modifications for 2022 later this year.
