Dodge for a Cause raises more than $1,000 for park project

The annual Dodge for a Cause, sponsored by SHIFT Happens, was held Friday night at Jefferson Gym with 17 teams taking part. The teams spanned three brackets — middle school, high school and community/family teams. Though the proceeds are still being tabulated, officials said that more than $1,000 was raised for the East Twin Park revitalization.
