The Webster City Community Chorus, under the direction of Dane Barner, will begin its season on Tuesday, Sept. 17, with an informational meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 921 Des Moines St., Webster City.

Rehearsals will begin the following week on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Singers high school age and up are invited to join the group in preparation for its annual holiday concert held the weekend of Dec. 7 and 8.

Vocalists should have basic four-part music reading skills. Because there are a limited number of practice sessions prior to the concert, members are reminded that rehearsals run more efficiently when everyone is present to cover all the parts. It is important that members make the commitment to attend the majority of practices.
