John Bregar of Madrid and Debra Leehoven of Ankeny were the overall winners of the Tour de Webster Bike Race held Sunday, Aug. 25 at Iowa Central Community College.

Seven bicyclists participated in the 21-mile race.

Bregar, competing in the 60 and over age bracket, completed the course in 1 hour and 45 seconds. Leehoven, also competing in the 50 and over age division, completed the coursein 1 hour, 18 minutes.

William Montoya, Webster City, placed first in the men’s 30-39 age bracket. Pat Foley of Webster City took first place in the 60 to 65 age bracket.

Tony Leehoven, Ankeny took first place in the 66-69 age division while Ray Kinnitz placed second in that division.

Dianne Kinnetz of Webster City took first place in the women’s 60 and over division.

The event was sponsored by the City of Webster City, Van Diest Medial Center, Fareway, Recreation and Public Grounds — Fuller Hall staff, Iowa Central Community College, Sports World and DJ Trophies.
