Little princesses to reign over Williams celebration

The Williams Little Princesses have been announced and they will preside over the Williams 150th Sesquicentennial celebration on Thursday, July 4. The Princesses are: Front row, from the left, Mariel Moreno and Joetta Schnell; back row, Ava Otteros, Hayden Keane and Hattie Heiden.

The Williams Little Princesses are girls from Williams who have just finished Kindergarten, First and Second Grades. On the Fourth of July, they represent the City of Williams in the annual Independence Day Parade and are featured in a program at 1:30 p.m. at the gazebo in the park.

Ava Otteros is the daughter of Quin and Rachel Otteros and has a sister Sylvia. Ava is really good at playing the piano and her favorite thing on the Fourth of July is the party at her house.

Hayden Keane is the daughter of Troy and Alison Keane. She has a brother Carsyn and she is a yellow belt in taekwondo. On the Fourth of July Hayden enjoys the parade, the tractor pull and the fireworks.

Hattie Heiden is the daughter of Anthony and Erin Heiden. She has a sister Magdalen and a brother Leo. Hattie loves to do cartwheels and to ride in the parade and throw candy on the Fourth of July.

Mariel Moreno is the daughter of Israel and Veronica Moreno and has three siblings, Leslie, Katelynn and Jordan. Mariel loves to sing and also loves all kinds of animals. Her favorite thing on the Fourth of July is being a Williams Little Princess.

Joetta Schnell is the daughter of Adam Schnell and Avis Pruismann. Her favorite Fourth of July memory is riding on the T-ball float last year. Joetta is super excited to play T-ball again this year and to be a Williams Little Princess for the first time.
