Wesselink is Parent Coordinator for Building Families, and gave a presentation on the Parent Connection Program and Prevent Child Abuse Council. Wesselink’s focus is on preventing abuse, but her department is wider than that. Its goal it to raise happy, healthy children and strong families, she said. The funds would be used mostly for activities and resources to give to parents.
