Women’s Club to hear historical program

The Webster City Women’s Club will have its November meeting Monday, Nov. 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jane Young House. The program will be “My Favorite Fashion.” Members are asked to bring or wear a favorite suit, dress or costume of their own to talk about.

Darlene Dingman will present a short historical review about the women’s club. Esther Lehman will have the hospitality. Music will be provided. Refreshments will be served by the committee-Darlene Dingman, chairman, Sharon Adams and JoAnn Katzer.

Cards will be again played at the Jane Young House beginning Wednesday, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 1:30 p.m. Any type of card game can be played, not only bridge and 500. Those attending can also bring favorite board games or card games. Court Whist will be taught at this time. For more information, call card chairman Sue Naden, 297-0963.

Memberships are due in December and can be paid at any the aforementioned meetings to Sue Naden, treasurer. The cost is $25 per year and will be good through December 2019.
