Halloween activities planned in Hamilton County

Hamilton County communities are gearing up for special Halloween trick or treat events in the coming days.

Webster City

• Preschool Halloween Party in Fuller Hall Gym, 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 27;

• Middle School Activity Night at Fuller Hall, 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., Oct. 27,

• Merchant Downtown Trick or Treat, participating businesses will have a Trick or Treat poster in their window, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Oct. 31,

• Southfield Wellness Community trick or treating, 3:30 to 5 p.m., Oct. 31

• Community Halloween Event, Van Diest Medical Center, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 31, partnering with Hy-Vee and Maharry Family Dentistry,

• Residential Trick or Treat Night, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 31.

Blairsburg

• Blairsburg Community Trick or Treat Night is Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Ellsworth

• Ellsworth trick or treating, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6 to 8 p.m.

Kamrar

• Kamrar trick or treat night, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.

Jewell

• Little Wall Lake Halloween Event, 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

• Bethesda Lutheran Church Trunk or Treat, 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

• Residential trick or treating, 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Stanhope

• Pumpkin Parade Pumpkin Carving Contest, $5 entry fee, register at the city offices, Saturday, Oct. 27, voting to take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Our Place. Kids first place to receive $100 prize.

• Stanhope trick or treating, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Stratford

• Stratford trick or treating, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.

Williams

• The Williams Lions Club will be hosting Beggar’s Night on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Williams Fire Station. Free hot dogs and drinks will be served.

• The City of Williams has scheduled Beggar’s Night on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 – 8 p.m.
