Southfield Wellness Community residents approached the Southfield activity staff and asked if they could do a community service project. It was decided to do something for students going back to school. They have been busy making back-to-school kits for all St. Thomas Aquinas students and their teachers. Three residents helping with the project were pictured, left tp right, Evelyn and Dean Simpson and Rodney Carlson, middle row is Bryce Hrnicek, Aiden Hrnicek and Matthew Tesdahl and front row is Carsten Hrnicek, Briggs Pruismann and Quynn Pruismann. Teachers will distribute the back-to-school kits at the end of the first day of class.
