Southfield Wellness Community hallways were converted into an “Under the Sea” theme during National Nursing Home Week to celebrate Southfield residents, families and staff. The prom was the climax to a full week of activities. Staff provided hairstyles, make-up and special occasion clothing for residents. Staff, residents and families voted for Prom King and Queen during the week. Royalty, Queen Ruth Baldwin and King Norman Sparrow, reigned over the event.
