The first meeting of the new year for the Webster City Women’s Club will be Jan. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jane Young House.

Nancy Kayser, a local historian, will present a program entitled, “?Send Me A Postcard,”?exploring the postcard generation from 1900 to 1920. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring an old postcard for shared conversation.

Music and other activities will be provided and refreshments will be served by Jean Schwandt, chairman, and her committee, ?JoAnn Katzer and Maxine Packard.

The program is open to anyone interested. Club officials said those wishing to join the Women’s Club and help in the preservation of the Jane Young House are asked to call Esther Lehman, 832-5645, Mary Ann Erickson, 832-4248, or any club member,

In case of stormy weather, the meeting will be rescheduled later in January.
