Smoking cessation session planned
A panel presentation on smoking cessation will be held via videoconference on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Van Diest Medical Center board room.
The speaker, Lorene Mein, ARNP, Ph.D., will connect from Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
The program will identify the different types of tobacco, how it affects adults and children, and resources and programs available for cessation and prevention.
