Kleins will celebrate 70th wedding anniversary

Bob and Marlys Klein will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary June 29. They both graduated from Webster City High School with the class of 1950 and were married in 1952.

Bob owned his own print shop, getting his start at the Daily Freeman-Journal of Webster City. Marlys taught school 25 years, getting her start in the country schools of Hamilton County. Their parents were Frank and Mabel (Woodmansee) Klein and Harold and Mildred (Adams) Entriken.

Bob and Marlys were married by Marlys’s great-great uncle the Rev. Ed Pruitt. They have a son, Steve, and two daughters, Kim (Ron) Davis and Connie (David) Ryan. Marlys has a brother David and (Cheri) Entriken and Bob has a cousin Veda (Woodmansee) Woodall, plus several other relatives living in the Webster City area.
