Lester and Leanna Ploeger

Lester and Leanna (Heitland) Ploeger of Webster City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 18.

A card show will be held in their honor. Cards may be sent to the couple at 1509 Collins St., Webster City, IA 50595.

Both were raised in Ackley and were married in the Washington Reformed Church on Sept. 18, 1971. They lived in Aplington until 1992 and then relocated to Webster City.

They have two children Lanae and Guy Metzgar of Ackley, and Landen and Betty Ploeger of Webster City. The couple also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
