Keith and Jo Abens

Keith Abens and Jolene Freeburg were married Aug. 29, 1970 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.

After graduating from ISU in 1973, they were teachers and coaches for a short time and then worked together in real estate for over 40 years, retiring from Abens Realty in Webster City in 2017. They now reside in Okoboji.

The couple have two children, Tyler Abens and his wife Sara and son Jayce of Webster City; and daughter Tracy Evans and her husband Lance, and children Wesley and Hampton of Okoboji.

The family celebrated with a New Year’s Trip together.
