Clara Bell of Woolstock will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house and a card shower.

The open house will be held at the Woolstock Community Hall, Saturday, April 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The event will be hosted by her children and their spouses: Laura (Mike) Runyan, Baxter, Minnesota, Karen Bell, Woolstock, Diane (Craig) Bard, Eagle Grove, and Beth (Bob) Johanns, Grundy Center. Mrs. Bell also has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Clara Bell was born April 5, 1938.
