Sewing guild to hold mini classes

All are invited to Central Iowa Sewing Guild “classroom” for the Saturday, Feb. 17 meeting at Trinity Methodist Church, Huxley, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants will visit a variety of mini classes stations covering many different aspects of sewing techniques. Topics will include welt pockets, sewing with PDF patterns, using Instagram for sewing, two-tone binding, bobbin work, hemming sheer fabrics, and bound edges.

Learn a new skill or refresh an old one. Examine step-by-step processes in an intimate environment and view completed samples. Ask questions and get answers. Interact with other sewists. Participants can visit all the learning stations or only those of interest.

This meeting will also include show and tell, and a free table.
