WC baseball throttles Iowa Falls-Alden

The Webster City baseball team pounded out 14 hits on their way to their fourth straight victory on Wednesday night.
The Lynx (14-9 overall) earned a 16-4 victory over Iowa Falls-Alden (4-14).
Jaxon Griffith had a huge game, going 4-for-4 and a home run shy of the cycle. Griffith had a triple, double and two singles, while driving in four runs and scoring four runs. Griffith also stole four bases.
Matthew Tesdahl had two hits, including a double. He also drove in two runs.
Trevyn Lyons had two hits and an RBI. Keegan Hisler scored three runs and drove in two runs.
Briar Klaver, Josh Stansfield, and Josh Griep also had an RBI.
The Lynx stole seven bases on the night.
Hisler and Aiden Hrnicek combined for a two-hitter. The two struck out five batters, while walking four and giving up zero earned runs.
