BOONE — The Webster City wrestling team gained some more momentum ahead of their upcoming Class 2A regional meet here Thursday, sweeping a triangular with Boone and Carroll.

The Lynx topped Boone, 67-11, and Carroll, 51-12.

Luke Estlund, Jordan Vankham, Brady Jessen, Austin Mason, Dylan Burnette-Bingham, CJ Hisler, Jaxon Cherry, Landon Griffin, Linden Phetxoumphone, Carson Doolittle, Brayden Henely and Adison Scott were all winners vs. the Toreadors.

Vankham, Jessen, Mason, Doolittle, Henley and Scott all won by fall. Burnette-Bingham, Hisler, Cherry and Griffin won by forfeit.

In the dual with Carroll, Henley, Tristan Mason, Austin Mason, Burnette-Bingham, Hisler, Maurice Anderson, Cherry, Phetxoumphone, Dawson Bertran, Gavin Wynkoop and Doolittle were winners.

Tristan Mason, Austin Mason, Hisler, Cherry and Bertran picked up falls, while Wynkoop won by forfeit.

Webster City will face off against the winner of Crestwood and Carroll on Tuesday evening in Webster City for Class 2A regional duals. Action begins at 6 p.m.
