Hawks whiff against CMB, Ogden; beat CGD on walk-off HR by Griffin

With an over-powering fastball, Stover, who committed to South Dakota State earlier in the week, fanned 13 batters against just one walk.

CMB (3-2, 3-2 HOIC) took charge of the game with five runs in the first inning and put up three more in the fifth.

Trey Woodall suffered the loss on the hill for the Hawks.

South Hamilton made six errors in the contest.

Blake Barquist broke up Stover’s no-hit bid with a third-inning single.
