JEWELL - Quality trumped quantity for the South Hamilton wrestling team at Saturday's Heart of Iowa Conference tournament.
A depleted lineup didn't stop the Hawks from winning multiple individual titles and placing sixth with 125 pounds in the 10-team field.
Greene County won a tournament-best four gold medals and snuck by runner-up Prairie City-Monroe, 168.5-167, for the team prize. Gilbert (164), Saydel (156.5) and Roland-Story (134) rounded out the top five.
