October 1, 2013
The Daily Freeman Journal

Smart Choice: Health Insurance is a free workshop from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, designed to help consumers understand their options and make the best decisions for their situation.

Two workshops are planned for Hamilton County:

Oct. 10, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Hamilton County Extension Office, 311 Bank Street, Webster City

October 28, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Montgomery Memorial Library, 711 Little Wall Lake Rd, Jewell,

The workshops will be led by Barb Wollan, Extension Family Finance specialist, and will be non-commercial and non-political. They will introduce the new Health Insurance Marketplace what it is and how to use it - and will describe the cost reductions available to many Iowans through the marketplace. Participants will also build information and skills for choosing a health insurance policy that fits their needs.

No pre-registration is required. For more information call 515-832-9597.
