WEBSTER CITY - Behind a strong performance in singles, the Webster City girls' tennis team built a sizable lead and then held on to beat North Polk, 5-4, Friday afternoon at the WCHS courts.

The Lynx took four of the six singles bouts and clinched the dual win when Cambria Hoffmann and Ariel Clabaugh came up big in doubles.

"It was good to see all of the girls have an on night on the same night," WCHS head coach Heather Kierzek said.
