BLAIRSBURG - Northeast Hamilton hung around for a while here last night, but eventually Belmond-Klemme's long-range bombers began to hit their target.
And there wasn't much the Trojans could do to stop the Broncos.
Belmond-Klemme - a force in the rugged North Iowa Conference - scorched the nets for 8 3-point baskets in the first half and 11 in all in a 55-40 non-conference victory over Northeast Hamilton.

NEH forward Logan Seiser (41)?applies pressure defense to Belmond-Klemme’s Colin Lane last night in Blairsburg.
The Broncos (16-6) knocked down five 3s in the opening quarter - they had just one field goal inside the arc during that stretch - and they seized control for good with a 10-0 run early in the second quarter.
NEH head coach John Seiser found plenty of things to be pleased about with his team, but he said the Broncos' balance was just too tough to stop.
"That was one of our better overall efforts this year, but they're a really good team," he said. "They've got three or four guys that can hit (3s), so it's just really tough. We really didn't have an answer for that."
