Residents are preparing for Trick or Treat at Southfield Wellness Community. Ghosts and goblins and pirates and princesses are invited to Southfield on Oct. 31 from 4 to 6 p.m. for a ‘spooktacular’ good time. The children will be welcomed with residents and tenants sitting outside their rooms just waiting to pass out candy to the wee ones. Halls will be decorated and creepy music will be playing to add to the excitement of the holiday. There is no charge for the event. Shown carving pumpkins are resident Velma Pelz and daughter Betty Mastin, both of Webster City.
