The Hamilton County Peace Officers Association would like to extend a sincere thank you to our great sponsors and everyone who came out to support our 5th annual Golf Benefit held this past July 9th at Briggs Woods Golf Course. We had a total of 39 teams participate in the event and many others came out to share a meal and participate in the auction/raffle. Through our efforts, we were able to issue a check for $20,000.00 to this year’s recipient, Katy Petersen and her 6-year-old son Jax. Katy’s husband, Tim was a Deputy with the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office and was killed in 2015. We extend a special Thank You to Russ Appel and the staff at Briggs Woods Golf Course for all of their efforts and support.
