Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

The Avenue of Flags of the American Legion Post 191 extends its sincere appreciation for another partial display (116 flags) of our most beautiful American flags in Graceland Cemetery, July 1, 2016 to July 6, 2016.

We apologize for different time changes because of the threat of bad weather we took them down one day earlier.

Here of some of the thank you’s with apologies to anyone we may have overlooked. Webster City Custom Meats for continuing to provide storage and their employees for getting a trailer in and out of storage. Webster City Police Department for their escort while putting up the flags. Graceland Cemetery for providing space for ours flag trailer while flags were on display.

Thank you Trinity and Dominic Carter for helping out Grandpa Duffy.

Special thank you Legionnaires. Again thank you to one and all whom were workers, participants, or those who were present for some or all of the activities.

The Avenue of Flags depends on great people like we have here in Webster City.

Thank you all (precious people) so much.

God Bless America.

Ron Keigan, Chairman AOF, Webster City American Legion Post 191
