To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on why Ken Peck would be the best choice for Sheriff of Hamilton County. I’m a former Ellsworth/Jewell/Stanhope Police Officer (1997-2004) and worked closely with Ken for seven years. Ken’s experience and qualifications to be sheriff are beyond reproach.

From my first hand observations while working with him, Ken has demonstrated the leadership, integrity, honesty, knowledge, strength, perseverance, compassion and professionalism that will enable him to best serve the citizens of the county as Sheriff.

Ken’s knowledge of the law, communication and listening skills give him a strong ability to evaluate and analyze any given situation then quickly and accurately identify and implement an effective solution. These skills learned over a 30 year career as a deputy have given Ken the capability and integrity to work with other agencies, staff and the citizens of Hamilton County.

On the June 7 primary, I urge you to cast your ballot for Ken.
