Reader thinks more could be done for bakery wall
To the Editor:
In last Friday’s paper, I read the moving article from your chamber director about becoming passionate about community. This was followed by a letter from a concerned citizen regarding the problem wall. They fit together perfectly.
It seems to me that problem could be resolved if everyone, quoting the article, “became passionate about living and working with each other in the community.” This includes all of us as well as the city officials.
With all the good things happening in Webster City, it would be a huge negative to allow the best bakery in the area to close through no fault of their own.
Read again Philippians 4:8. Explore all the possibilities. Surely more can be done in addition to posting warning signs. This problem could possibly eat its way down the block, affecting many more business owners.
