Dahl says he’s been harshly judged by some in WC

To the Editor:

I have been harshly judged by some in the community of Webster City. I was terminated from a career position that I thoroughly enjoyed in 2011. I have sought employment in eleven different businesses in Webster City and was denied employment by all eleven. I was tossed out of Kiwanis after membership was granted. Potential membership in the Lion’s Club was withdrawn.

I do give thanks to companies in Fort Dodge and Eagle Grove that took a chance on a hard-working and responsible person like myself.

I would like to remind those in Webster City that the standard by which you judge will be the standard by which you are judged. What goes around does come around. Matthew 7:1-5 (Revised Standard Version) reminds us:

“Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbor, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye.”

I do have one final request as I continue to reside in Webster City. I would ask any person that I have offended during my time in Webster City come speak with me so that reconciliation may result. It has been shared that there were complaints about me. I would certainly like to rectify any injury or offense that I have caused.
