To the Editor:

The First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Faith United Methodist Church want to let the community know how much we greatly appreciate your support by attending the joint old fashioned ice cream social.

The generous donations received were equally divided between Upper Des Moines Opportunity and the free clinic, where all proceeds will be used within our community. We also want to thank the talented cast of “Nunset Boulevard” for completing the evening with such delightful entertainment. Thank you again for making the evening so successful and we look forward to seeing all of you again next year at next year’s ice cream social.
